Well, I finally kinda gave in on the http://www.cbmall.com/?storefront=teaubin thing. Wasn't working out soo well for me. I found that I couldn't customize the site in my own way. Kind of stuck with what you see is what you get, with the exception of one small personal link at the very top of the site. Therefore, it was difficult to attract attention to the site.
With this new venture.. http://www.ChamplainProfitMart.com , my options for customizing the site are pretty good. I can change the layout, add content as I see fit and experiment to my hearts desire and learn what works and what doesn't. I'm hoping to make this one work out for me, although I still do have a large learning curve to overcome. It's a bit difficult trying to learn as you go. I'm finding that I get an idea in my head and as I'm exploring that idea, I come across something else...before I know it, I'm off on a totally different path and have lost track of what I was originally doing. The Profitmart system... http://www.profitmart.com/affiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=1393 seems like it may work out in time. I'll let you all know for sure. I must admit it is fun to play with and learn, as long as I don't let the information overload get to me. My next big venture is an attempt at learning to place content, namely short articles, on the site. As you can tell, I'm not much of a writer so I've been scouring the net for help in this matter. Any suggestions? I'm all ears :) I seem to get 'writers block' the moment I even give a thought to writing an article for posting onsite. Of course that's mostly due to my overbearing worrying about making the article "search engine friendly".
